TRREX HELPS YOU BEAT THE HEAT AND LOWER RISK!

The risk of overheating is in some industries is a serious concern for
workers and employers.  In addition to heat related illnesses, the
distraction from focus and attention can create critical and
dangerous mistakes, whether you are working with fire, hammering
on a roof or any strenuous work activity

There are over 1 million lost work time injuries and illnesses
reported annually to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, many caused
directly or indirectly by heat issues.  And it is believed that these
numbers are significantly understated because some conditions are
   not adequately recognized and reported.

Heat related illnesses can be as seemingly minor as dizziness, but
can quickly turn into serious conditions like sunstroke, heat cramps,
and heat stroke.  It is important to treat the possibility before
symptoms occur, because by then it is often too late.

   Occupational Safety and Health Administration
  (California OSHA)

identify individuals reporting occupational injuries most often as
white and hispanic men age 25-54.  Key occupations suffering from
high occupational injuries include transportation, construction,
   farming/fishing/forestry, sales, protective services, and
building/grounds maintenance.   Other specific industries affected
by heat-related incidents include glass manufacturing, food
   processing, boilermakers, and laundries.

The National Weather Service Heat Index sends warnings of
   "
extreme caution" for heat illnesses when the temperature exceeds
90 degrees at  humidity of 30% in the shade.  They give the same
extreme warning when temperatures are only 75 degrees but the
person is in direct sunlight.  This is typical weather for many US
    cities even in Spring months.
